Back in 2011, something magical happened—a beautiful gathering of musicians came together. I was on tour with Someday Jacob, Richard Neuberg, Daisy Chapman, The Epstein, and Johnny Parry. This year, some of us will be reuniting to play live shows again. You can catch these amazing artists at the Hoeg City Festival and the Breminale—and I’m honored to be playing drums. Come by and join the celebration. It’s going to be a blast!

Life is good, and I’m beyond grateful for it. Playing gigs on the drums fills me with joy, and sharing music with others—playing together, singing, and connecting before and after the concerts—is something truly special. These are the moments and places we, as human beings, need—the spaces for real encounters, where music and presence bring us together. Take care of yourselves, cherish these places, and keep them alive wherever you are.

2024 has been a memorable year, filled with moments that reminded me why I continue this journey. From live shows to studio sessions, every opportunity to play and connect has been meaningful.
This year included concerts with talented artists like Daisy Chapman, Devin Heat, Someday Jacob, Olly Wills, WeserButjer, Simon Becker, and Gordon. Along the way, I’ve met new friends and reconnected with old ones—most importantly, my drums, which always feel like an essential part of me. I’m especially thankful to Zildjian, Ludwig, and Vic Firth for their support in helping me bring that connection to the stage.
I approach every performance with care, striving to find the core of the music and give it my best, one beat at a time. Thanks for being part of this journey—here’s to the rhythm and the road ahead!

Another incredible night for my beloved football club, Werder Bremen, with my friends from the band Afterburner!

I have been performing on small tours with Daisy and her violinist Sue for several years now. These concerts aren’t just about playing a set list; they’re about capturing a shared musical momentum that only three close musician friends can create. I genuinely look forward to the time we get to spend together.

A project dedicated to my favorite football club. Football is more than just a sport; it’s an emotional experience. We’ve poured all of that passion into these songs.

Those concerts featuring Daisy Chapman, Olly Wills (The Epstein), and Someday Jacob were truly exceptional. Dear friends, enchanting songs, and amazing venues with warm-hearted audiences made June an unforgettable month for live music.

I’m pleased to share that I recently had the opportunity to play live drums for German singer-songwriter, Simon Becker. I had the privilege of producing Simon’s latest album, „Texas und Zurück.“ A special thanks to Dirk Mahler for capturing some memorable moments from our musical journey together. Your skill behind the lens brought our collaboration to life!
Stay tuned for more updates and glimpses into the world of live music and production.

Currently, I find myself deeply immersed in a diverse range of projects, each presenting its own set of distinctive challenges and rewards. Whether I’m intricately crafting rhythms for my soccer music project, WeserButjer, or laying down tracks for the upcoming album of Someday Jacob, each day unfolds with fresh opportunities for exploration and innovation.
And amidst this creative whirlwind, my studio sessions are incomplete without the presence of my faithful companions: my Zildjian cymbals and Ludwig drums. These instruments have stood by me steadfastly, consistently delivering the perfect sound time after time. Their unparalleled quality and reliability have been a cornerstone of my musical journey, and I am profoundly grateful to both Zildjian and Ludwig for their unwavering support throughout the years.
